Watched some more English dubbed Aria tonight. I think I figured out part of my issue with Veronica Taylor as Akari. Not to say she's bad at it. Far from it. I like her a lot as a voice actress. The issue is more with Akari the character than anything.

I am now almost at the 20 hour mark in Ys IX, and have more opinions on it.
The switch from having a bunch of small segmented areas from previous Ys games to much larger areas has been nice. While I don't find Balduq as interesting a locale as the Isle of Seiren was, it is much easier and enjoyable to move around it with the combination of the monstrum gifts. Edit: Slept for 11 hours after work. Will figure out the backgrounds for those last two panels later.
Finally wrapped up Pokemon: Battle Frontier and can continue onward with Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl.

When I first drew the storyboard for this page, I was cursing myself, thinking "Why are you adding so much shit to the page! It's gonna take forever to draw!" The drawing gods were on my side today as the roughs were relatively painless. Only things that needed major changes from Cooper was adjusting some of Kevin's angles. His head was more turned around in panel 2, which would've resulted in him breaking his neck, probably.

After I got done shopping at Walmart yesterday, I noticed that the back passenger side tire on my car was completely flat. Upon further inspection, there was a screw secured in it. Chapter titles are always a pain to come up with. I try to think of something that fits, but a lot of the time I wind up not being able to think of anything. Couple times I wound up just titling it whatever song I happened to be listening to at the time. Not the greatest method, but hey!
