Pencil on paper, what a mess

When I did my artwork using pencil and paper I was very sloppy. I preferred a very soft pencil so it created a blotched mess so easily. 

I'm really happy I stopped using paper and pencil in late 2018, when I purchased my iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil. Never looked back since then.

This sketch is from 2014.

These pages were done using pencil, paper, inks; then scanned, and finally colored in Photoshop, using my Mac and a digital tablet with a stylus. Yes, that convoluted at that time. 

As a bonus, I'm attaching the versions with flat colors, no shadows, no lights.

A new superhero is coming

Long, long ago, I used to draw superheroes for my own entertainment and amusement. 

"Orion" was one of my OC (original characters) back then. He was blonde, young, powerful, and wore a leather mini skirt with NO underwear. It was a treat for me drawing him doing his thing without really showing the family jewels, and that turned me on every time. 

Unfortunately, for personal reasons I had to get rid of all my early artwor...
