Thanks for being so patient with me, I’m pretty much moved in now. There’s just some little bits and bobs to bring over from my parents, but all of the big stuff is done. in case you’re confused why I use such random colours at the beginning of the colouring process, I use colours that are easy to tell apart so that I can tell what layer I’m drawing on.

Whilst this looks like quite a basic page, that is intentional for the narrative. After all, it is an action shot. If there are too many details on the page, I feel as though it takes away from the essence of the motion, the vitality and the energy of the movement. Something a little different for you all this time. Rather than using the in-built recorder feature in Procreate, I used screen capture software. This took a little longer than expected, but the hard part is done (planning and lines)! The colours and lettering won’t take nearly as long now that the ground work is laid.
I’m probably going to do another Q&A section between this page and the next because people seemed to have enjoyed the last one.
