Unbeknownst to Ashley and Sarah, and contrary to previous wands made by Tedd, the spells in this wand had a range to them.
Not only was it not touch-based, the wand would effectively ignore anyone the tip of it touched, and target whoever else was closest.
This was intended to make it so people didn't have to bonk themselves on the head with the wand to use it, but as demonstrated here, it might not have been entirely thought out....

I wasn't sure what sort of forms a feminine Santa and her elves should have, so I carefully researched it, and these forms were largely supported by the results.

There are potential arguments to be had when it comes to characters persuading Non-Player Characters, and I think they come down to Player Skill Vs Character Skill.
Larry the player doesn't necessarily have the skills to make an ultra-persuasive argument, but Larry the bard definitely does.
