Iโ€™m sorry, but this conversation has already ended. Please find someone else to bother. Thank you and have a nice day.

No?

Gus Lemon

Also Iโ€™m glad to see James has found a nice and sturdy home for that Many axe ๐Ÿ˜‚ Also also funniest get to the numbers I think ever ๐Ÿ˜‚ โ€œpeople can lick too! ๐Ÿ˜ƒโ€

Dane Otto

As a lifelong Utah resident, that salt lake seasoning can certainly add a lot to a movie. Glad to hear my boy James appreciates it!

any time

Trevor Collins

Thanks for being a jackass

somegirlcalledcat

Ableism is an actual problem that affects me, a disabled woman, so it doesnโ€™t make me happy.

somegirlcalledcat

anyway, thanks for taking the time to answer my question

Trevor Collins

I think you'd be happier if you only fretted and cried ableism over actual problems

Trevor Collins

Well, I couldnโ€™t explain in a sentence of five words or less, so yeah, I have to write a lot. And no, this isnโ€™t much. Just say that you donโ€™t know what itโ€™s like to experience ableism.

somegirlcalledcat

this is much

Trevor Collins

It also wasnโ€™t a good idea to make that unizoomer joke because he called him the Gen Z version of the Unibomber, meaning he compared a possibly autistic person to a serial killer. And before you say โ€œBUT THEY NEVER MENTION HIM BEING AUTISTICโ€, the signs are as clear as day. Theyโ€™re not fooling non-ableist people.

somegirlcalledcat

Here, I copied and paste the comment I left on that video. Zoran, as an autistic woman, Iโ€™d like to point out that the characteristics that you mock Jake for having are clearly autistic characteristics. He uses his phone to communicate because heโ€™s mostly nonverbal (minus that one time he magically speaks because of autism movie magic). And as for the hoodie thing, heโ€™s stressed out. He needs something to do with his hands to stim because he can no longer stim with his phone. Itโ€™s the Babadook all over it again; Sam from that movie was clearly autistic, but the movie didnโ€™t bother to actually say it and everybody decided to be ableist by saying that he was the true villain. Even Shudder was a butthole right off the bat when they brought up the movie on their 101 Scariest Horror Movie Moments series. I get it that you most likely didnโ€™t know, Zoran, but you also have to keep in mind that some of the Little Meaties are autistic and are seen as โ€œweirdโ€ like Jake. Can we PLEASE stop mocking people for being weird, especially if we donโ€™t know for sure if theyโ€™re disabled?

somegirlcalledcat

what ableism?

Trevor Collins

as someone who has been roofied, and asked her parents if she was raped... it is not something to make fun of

LauraLouBoo

โ€œWeโ€™re gonna have to have an HR meeting now!โ€ Yes, please have one and discuss the ableism in Zoranโ€™s script for Critters Attack that you approved of.

somegirlcalledcat

I didnโ€™t know this movie even existed

I was going to joke that the urban legend that inspired the tanning bed death was Final Destination 3, but that actually came out a year after Bloody Mary. A little research lead me to a Snopes article about a woman who tanned so much in a short amount of time that she cooked herself to death, which itself is an urban legend that goes back to the mid-80s: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/brown-betty/

Jackie Schneider

This is going to bring back so many memories. This was my introduction to Kate Mara and this movie scared the crap out of me as a kid
