I got divorced, moved to another state, and didnโt have enough room for all of them, so I headed to Powellโs Books & sold a lot of them. This is when the internet was becoming increasingly more accessible, so I could look online for recipes. Fast forward to present day. I have so many cookbooks, I had to get an extra bookcase to store them all. I havenโt counted, but the number I have is similar to what I had before. I love looking at everything Ben makes, and am now a huge Allison Roman fan. (Thanks Ben ๐) It is NOT an addiction! Sort ofโฆ..๐ฌ๐

I believe it originated here due to our milling/flour industry. Washburn MPLS HS mascot - โThe Millersโ. Those rich kids were called โcake eatersโ because of the wealth generated by the โwhite flour industryโ. Iโm a recovering heroin addict and even tho Iโm in therapy for years, I still always say life is fucking boring after feeling that sort of high for a few years. Itโs wild. Itโs one of the reasons I wonโt have kids, I donโt want them to be bored with life like I am. Love to feel validated when you spoke on that. Thank you
