Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere.

Ugh -- school! School is like one big worry all by itself -- you have my deepest sympathy. I don't know if you'd be interested or not, but Marc and Angel Chernoff write some pretty down-to-earth stuff about things like worrying -- take a look if you get a chance.

Oh, and thanks -- the profile picture is a real favorite, Simon's Cat. If you have a cat, or know a cat or even ARE a cat, he's pretty hard to resist, haha!

Hi, Kitty -- two quick tricks. First, of course, is taking a step back and realizing that, for at least 23 seconds, you were in Auracle's world and can be whenever you want to (and for both of us that means in those particular moments, things are pretty good). And second, I try to remind myself of how many things I've worried about over the years and how they turned out. A lot of them turned out to be either "no problem!" or, more often "Hey, that didn't work out badly at all!" And the ones that actually WERE bad? I remind myself that I not only survived them, but came out on the other side. And don't ever forget that there are people who care and will help.
