Weekly Update #64
Added 2019-07-01 18:10:33 +0000 UTCOf all my stories this week, I think TQH and TTE had the best chapters.
First, TQH destroyed me emotionally. I got teary a few times while writing the latest chapter. I also figured that it would be the best chapter I write for the week. Now, I have written TTE's latest chapter, and it just did the exact opposite to my emotions and I am absolutely in love with the latest chapter.
I don't know which chapter I think is better. Both had extremely different themes that cannot be compared, but both also really affected me emotionally and are neck-to-neck in that regard.
I'll have to settle for them both just being really good (by my standards) chapters.

Only 29 hours and 19,419 words this week, but I got nice and refreshed and was able to put out two of the best chapters in a while. I seriously do like this schedule. I feel bad that I'm not doing 40 hours minimum every week anymore, but I mean, I'm still getting chapters done and I think the quality has been improving overall, so I have conflicted feelings.
The True Endgame
As I already stated above and at the end of the latest chapter, I just think this whole last arc was great. It would also be a great stopping point for the series on its own, but there is still plenty to come! Now that Serra, Cassandra, and Alice have had plenty of time in the spotlight, I think it's about time Azawaza gets a serious dosage of love. And...
Ero Dungeon Online
Lily is just perfect. I've had more people unpledge because of the changes and switch regarding EDO, but I still adamantly believe EDO is already a better product than EDE was at any point in its time, and I have far more confidence in EDO in general. I also feel like Lily just already has way more depth to her now. There have only been some minor changes to her, but I love her even more now.
And I already loved her a ton before.
I mean, she's perfect. Haven't you heard?
The Queen's Hound
Hoh boy. I obviously can't talk about the last chapter since it would be massive spoilers to people who aren't pledged to the $10 tier, but... ugh. It was so good, but it just emotionally exhausted me writing it. That's not a bad thing, mind you. I'm of the belief that if I'm not affected by my own writing then I'm not doing a good job of it. It is because that chapter left me so emotionally exhausted that I am so proud of it. The emotions it made me feel are sort of like proof that I did a good job. I'm sure there are people who disagree with me regarding its quality, but to me, it came out better than I could have hoped for.
Lazy Dragon Queen
I think that it was both obvious what was coming and surprising what ended up happening. That was the point, anyways. Build up to something sort of obvious, but then take it one step farther with something that should have been really obvious right from the beginning of a certain plan.
In a way, it was both irrational and very rational at once. I think?
CORE
While I am pleased with the last two chapters, I do feel that they are not as good as the ones before it. I can't really say much that wouldn't spoil anything, but I'm excited for when the arc really gets rolling. Tons of stuff is going to happen, and right now we're very much in the phase that is building up to it. I also wrote down like 3 volumes worth of ideas the other night. God, I am so excited for when we get to the later stuff. It's always so tempting to just skip to the really good stuff, but that wouldn't be any good! For now, CORE will continue trying to make this part of his life entertaining. He will not need to try nearly as much soon enough, though.
In Closing
I think I'm going to try to go and catch up in FFXIV this week. We'll see how that goes.
