Weekly Update #116

Blegh. Rewriting the first volumes of TTE into past tense is taking way longer and more energy than I thought it would. It was fun at first, but now I'm in the phase where I'm dreading it since I'd rather be writing new stuff than editing old stuff. But, it needs to be done. It's really starting to drag on me mentally, though - doing both writing new stuff and rewriting old stuff in the same day, that is.

I'm kind of thinking of just taking the week after next off from writing new chapters so that I can power my way through editing the rest of TTE's first volume. Once I'm done editing that, I'll be fine for a while and can go at editing way more casually since I'll probably release TTE volumes every... 3 months to Amazon? That would be 4 a year, so I'd probably be able to get up to like volume... 10 or so before catching up to where the webnovel would be at the time. 

I don't know. For now, though, there will definitely be new chapters in this upcoming week. I'll let you know what I'll do about the week after that in the next weekly update!

41 hours, 30,646 words. Better than last week, I think? At least as far as hours:words goes.

The True Endgame

I don't have much to say for any of the stories this week. Editing is still goin' on. This first arc for the latest volume is already like twice as long as I originally thought it would be, but I'm having a lot of fun with it and really enjoying it. I'm also toying around with the idea of it being kind of like... a shorter volume than usual, but one that takes place pretty much entirely in real life. I mean, at this point, it's already nearing the minimum required words to really count as novel. So maybe this volume will end up pretty short and be like a ".5" volume. Or just kind of count as a side thing? Or I could just count it as a main entry since it's still got important stuff for the series. I don't know. We'll see!

Ero Dungeon Online

I discovered this past week that EDO is my most read story out of all of them, at least as far as SH goes. It has the second lowest amount of readers but gets the most views-per-chapter out of all the stories, even beating TQH which has over twice the followers. That aside, I don't really have anything else to say!

The Queen's Hound

It's so nice finally writing things that I had planned since pretty much the very beginning. Things might not be going exactly as planned, but I'm still happy overall and looking forward to writing the next chapter which I think should be super fun for me to write.

Lazy Dragon Queen

Finally got to bring out more of Drake's love for everything related to gardening. Everything related to gardening. Now, whether the switch in his mind to activate this new side of him ever gets taken advantage of by the others or not, that's the question!

It might be little, but I'm at least trying to tie things together so that it doesn't seem like I'm just doing a bunch of random things. I've got a plan! Kinda. Most of it is bullshitting as I go since that's generally how I write stories, but I think I'm doing a good job of tying the bullshit together.

In Closing

It's a new month, so thank all of you once again for your continued patronage! My posting schedule should get more consistent again once I'm done with editing TTE's first volume since I'll be able to take it easy afterward, but I really do want to try and get the first volume published this year. Preferably within the next couple of months.
