Weekly Update #114

Well, that was just a rough week overall. My sleep schedule has gone to absolute shit which is making everything else absolute shit. I forgot just how horrible it is to actually be on this bad of a sleep schedule since I was able to go, what, a good 3... actually, like, 4 or 5 months on a normal schedule that only fluctuated a little bit? Regardless, it's just killed my ability to do stuff. I seriously need to try fixing it again this weekend. I tried last weekend, and it worked, but then I ended up sleeping for like 17 hours on Monday, so it very quickly broke again and ended up even worse. Blagh.

Anyways, that sleep schedule is probably why I felt like I had writer's block pretty much all week long. Fortunately, despite taking an absolutely ridiculous amount of time to type chapters this week, I was happy with all of them.

There's also another factor playing into this. I have an idea that I really, really, really like for a project. I really want to try it out. It's still related to storytelling but completely different from webnovels and thus it would be something I have zero experience with. I think I'll try it out in my free time since I doubt I'll be able to get it out of my head until I try it, and the more I think about it, the harder it'll be to focus on anything else.

Anyways, memes 'nd things:

37 hours, 22,684 words. Disappointing. Chapters were still extra long for another week in a row and I did get some editing done, but nowhere near enough to justify those hours. Gah. I need to fix my schedule.

The True Endgame

Not much to say this week. This new arc has probably got two more chapters in it before we go back into the game, and I'll (probably) be hinting at some of the stuff to come in-game with the next chapter! Also, heck yeah, I finally got to share the art I've been stockpiling for the last couple of months.

Ero Dungeon Online

She has finally returned. I can't exactly say who or much of her without spoiling, but she do be back, and I have some fun plans for her.

The Queen's Hound

I do love giving Zurie more of a focus with this little arc. Next chapter will have more meetings with the other vampires and stuff to finally put some faces to everybody who's been getting namedropped.

Lazy Dragon Queen

LDQ be LDQ just like always. Another tower, another upgrade, and now it's time for another fight!

CORE

Free readers finally got to the end of the second volume. I also recently saw somebody tell me that CORE is their favorite story which is... kind of unbelievable to me. I don't know, it just seems like nobody really likes it anymore when I check the views for it. It's my least-liked story here on Patreon, least-viewed on RR and SH despite having more followers than TTE and LDQ, and it rarely gets comments. But, somebody told me that it's their favorite, so that was super nice and motivational.

In Closing

I'm having trouble really deciding which new series I want to work on, but I'm not going to get work done on any of them if I don't fix my sleep schedule, so that's the hopeful goal of this weekend again. For now, thank you for tolerating my messed up schedule, thank you for your support as always, and please look forward to next week's chapters!
