NRaO Chapter 19

“What do you mean you don’t have a place to live?” Tsuyu hit Jiraiya as we rested in my living room. He could only look sheepish. “Well I kind of sold my home and spent the money before heading to Mount Myoboku. He scratched the back of his head before she slapped him again. “And you didn’t think to tell me this before we walked all the way here?”

He poked his two pointer fingers together out of nervousness. “It kind of slipped my mind.” She straight up punched him in the face before yelling. “So where is our family going to live then?” I decided now would be the perfect time. “My old home is still under my name. You can live there for a few months until you find somewhere else. I’d recommend the Senju houses, they go for cheap if you can get them when they go up for sale.”

She bowed her head while forcing Jiraiya to as well. I thought of how unlucky she was to get saddled with that bum as a partner. I told them as they left. “I’ll have the cleaners start taking care of the house again starting tomorrow. I stopped having them clean it every week since no one has lived there for over a year.” They left after eating a quick meal. I wasn’t sure if they had any food so I’d make sure to send some groceries for them tomorrow. I didn’t care if Jiraiya went hungry but I most certainly wouldn’t let his kids go hungry.

We settled in for the night and another problem had shown itself. Who to sleep with. Junko, Tsunade and Manda all wanted to take my time. I indulged in all three that night without getting much sleep. With six women to please, my free time was mostly eaten up. I still had to check in on our taijutsu specialist group but Duy was handling it his own way. It didn’t need much input from me.

It was the best of both worlds. We converted ninja dropouts into actual useful ninjas for the village. Many of the smaller skirmishes along the border were assisted by several of the taijutsu specialists. Fights that would normally be a draw one way or even skewed towards the enemy would end in victory for us. The stalemate fights would have both sides flee before but now with people stronger and faster to chase them down they’d be eliminated instead of escaping.

In just a few short years our casualty rates and the number of enemy shinobi in our borders dropped dramatically. As impressive as large-scale ninjutsu was, those were the best of the best of each village. They wouldn’t be risked for border assaults. No, the weakest was sent to guard and attack and our weakest was stronger than theirs now.

Manda and another snake mother were halfway through another pregnancy. Manda was the only woman to give me one child while Mamba had given birth to three so far. Pythi and Ana were both happy to live with servants and could take more breaks from raising the children. That led to us having more sex than when they first gave birth. All of them might already be pregnant again with how much we all have sex.

With that many children it was hard to keep track. Even with just twelve it was hard to get one on one time with them. As my harem grew and I had more children it would only become harder. I mainly focused on the ones who looked like they were going to become great ninjas in the future. None of Mamba’s, Pythi’s or Ana’s children showed great signs of power so far.

Haku, Kahu, Tobi, Hashi and Mitsuki(Manda’s son) all showed signs of potential in the future but it was still far too hard to tell. I’d try my best to love them all but Basil, Onee, Conda, Ori, Ozzy, Ami and Hide tended to separate and play with each other instead of their more talented siblings. It was as if they already knew they wouldn’t be as strong so purposely lowered themselves to be subordinates to the others.

It was still enjoyable. As long as they got along it would work itself out in the end. I would love them even if they weren’t skilled shinobi but propping up the best was something any good father should do. Even with Guy I could tell he put more effort into training his first born daughter than the other two so far. She, at two years old, was already training to be a great shinobi in the future.

I needed to loan Jiraiya some money as well. He hadn’t really done anything besides train the last two years and unlike me he didn’t have clones running around or businesses to gather income while he was gone. Time flew by and it was getting closer to the time we would select our teams. Normally the teams would be selected by Hiruzen but as his students we were given the privilege to choose our own.

I smirked as my plan came to fruition. If everything went perfectly it could possibly change the shinobi world forever. Even if my main plan didn’t succeed it would at least change how things worked in Konoha to some degree. I just had to be careful and not overplay my hand at changing how things are done. The pushback will be there but I may have assassination attempts if I change things too quickly.

I’m surprised Hiruzen let me do this. If anything went wrong with my group it could cause all out war inside the village. If everything went perfectly I could bring forth a utopia but there was still a chance of things ending badly. If one of my selected children dies, things could go bad with their clan. I knew Hiruzen pulled some strings and some wouldn’t be happy. Certain clan’s refused to have outside shinobi lead their genin.

That’s part of the problem though. The village has four major clans supported by a half dozen middle clans and a few dozen minor clans. The four major clans have too much pull inside the village but at the same time they also are hurting themselves in the long run. The best move going forwards was to do what the Senju did and integrate but they never would. It needed to start somewhere.

The Hyuga were effectively separated from the village. The only people who interact with people outside of their clan were slaves from the side branch. Most genin and some chunin might have never even met a main branch Hyuga. With how far separated they were from the actual running of the village they had their own tribunal for when a Hyuga committed a crime.

The Uchiha practically ran the police force with very few members from other clans joining. It left incorporating themselves inside the village outside of being the police force much harder. You didn’t see Uchiha farmers or fishers. They were almost exclusively a fighting force that desperately needed to be incorporated into the village. Most normal citizens only saw Uchiha as rule enforcing thugs.

Those were the two I was concerned about. The heads needed to have new thoughts introduced or both clans would stagnate and possibly rebel. You could already see it with the Hyuga fighting style. Everyone learning the same moves, the same style which is suited for water ninja more than other natures was a gigantic mistake. The Uchiha had a huge arrogance problem and would lose the need to have rivals as strong if not stronger to beat that superiority complex out of them. That’s what I planned to do. Completely change how the biggest clans in the village viewed things.
