Thank you so much for your reactions and your thoughts about the third movie! I actually liked this one most of the three, because it focused more on Dumbledores Character who is still my absolute favourite. However, in my opinion Mads Mikkelson did a phenomenal job as Grindelwald, Jude Law as Dumbledore, too. I really felt the chemistry between them. As much as I like and respect Jhonny Depp as a great actor and I too think it‘s not fair how and why he lost the role, I must admit that his interpretation of Grindelwald with the white hair and the crazy eyes etc. was just too over the top for me. The more subtile way Mikkelson played him was just more as I always imagined him to be. So honestly - please don‘t hate me - but honestly I hope he will continue to play Grindelwald. I still really wish Jhonny Depp all the best and I‘m sure he will get many other great roles in future with his talent.

2022-10-09 19:51:30 +0000 UTCSo I didn't see anyone answer this so I'm going to. Yes, Bellatrix and Lita were distantly related due to Bellatrix's husband Rodolphus. There were two lines of the Lestrange family one in Britain and one in France. Lita came from the France lineage and Bellatrix married into the Britain one. There is never any mention of blood status effecting whether of not one can become a obsurus or not. Going off what we know about them all blood statuses could become one.

2022-07-13 12:22:26 +0000 UTCYou didn't seem to mind the change in actors for Dumbledore. Must be the circumstances surrounding the reason for the change. Also, the dark wizarding elements existed for hundreds of years before the twentieth century. Remember, Hogworts was founded a thousand years before the Potter years. We saw Voldemort question Grindelwald about the whereabouts of the elder wand in "Deathly Hallows 1". The word on the street is that this is meant to be a five movie arc. Thanks for the great reaction. (and the 'dripping' reveal). By the way, there are a couple fan films on YouTube about the marauders.

2022-07-13 11:49:40 +0000 UTCThe time and era that the Fantastic Beasts movies are in makes sense for the German-Nazi times. The one takes place in the mid-1920's hence the Witch Trials, the second one is a little later on. And I believe they say that the third one is set in the 1930's at the time of the beginning to the Second World War. Might need to dive into some cross referencing to get details across the movies and real life time lines.
