Damn it, Keith! Get on them controls! Come on, son! Ahhh, right, I know what you're talking about with RGB now. I completely brain-blanked until you jogged my memory. Yeah, if you can get the kit for that, it would make an awesome video to watch – especially seeing before and after footage.

RGB is the cleanest, purest video signal you can get from old game consoles, much better than S-Video. Some consoles (like most Genesis and SNES models) support it natively with the right cable, but NES needs to be modded. Long story short, a normal NES looks like a blurry mess, but an RGB-modded NES connected to a good upscaler (which I have) will practically look like you're playing in an emulator.

Oh, I guess there is a RasPi in that arcade cabinet, isn't there? Of course, the cabinet is still useless because Keith STILL HASN'T GOTTEN THE SECOND PLAYER CONTROLS WORKING, KEITH.

RGB modding? I haven't heard of that before. I do like the idea of you doing more hardware modding videos, though, so if you do it at some point I'd love to see a video of it. I have both a Raspberry Pi and an Arduino starter kit, though I haven't had the time to mess with either one yet. The Pi I plan to turn into a little development/test server. The Arduino, I don't have a clue where to start. Long-term, the idea of making a NFC device to trigger things would be neat. I like the idea of getting an NFC hand implant and using it to lock/unlock my door. The cyborg reality shall come! As for ideas, I don't really know what to suggest for Arduino. I probably won't have time to use my kit for quite a while, so I'd be happy to donate it if you're interested in playing around with it. Raspberry Pi-wise, I think Keith said in a video that he made an arcade cabinet with one. That would be an awesome video to see one (or both) of you do.

Interested yes, but I haven't yet branched out to other things. I'd be interested if you had any ideas in mind. I don't really know what i'd be looking to do with arduino. Definitely on my to-do list though is RGB-modding an NES, but the kits are pricey. I could potentially fund it by modding one and selling it first, but it'd still be a big down payment.

Hey, Kyle, just curious: have you gotten into any other hardware projects aside from cartridge hacking? I think I remember Keith talking about Raspberry Pi stuff he's worked on but I can't recall you mentioning stuff like that before. Any interest in Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or other similar projects?
