This used to be my standard process during many, many years: pencils on paper -> inking -> scanning the original -> editing and coloring via Photoshop on my Mac.
1. Sketching and pencils on paper.
2. Inking and scanning.
3. Editing and coloring via Photoshop using a digital tablet.
