To be honest, I keep discovering these weird things from time to time, but only in Polish forests!
I keep wondering what theyโre actually for, because each one looks so different.
This one is definitely the biggest Iโve ever seen, but Iโve also found some that are much older, already covered with moss and almost blending into the forest ๐
So Iโm really curious what do you think these things are? ๐
Of course, I couldnโt miss the chance to take some unique and fun self-portraits with it.
And this isnโt the last set- thereโs more to come! โจ

Yes, someone mentioned in another post that it might also be something left behind by scouts so there are many possible explanations. Forest mysteries everywhere! ๐ฒโจ

It definitely could be a simple shelterโฆ but at the same time, in our forests here these structures often look a bit too whimsical and chaotic)) So yes, maybe itโs firewood dryingโฆ or maybe itโs just the forest playing with us?๐โจ I love to imagine them as tiny spirit shelters hidden between the trees. โจ๐ฒ And thank you for your kind words about the photos that means a lot ๐

To finish it off we would use smaller branches snd moss or evergreen boughs woven in on the outside to essentially make it wind resistant We made them similar in the military as part of our survival school. But it could just be a bunch of firewood drying in the forest easy to carry out at a later time. Other options I'll mention on Instagram. You look beautiful as always. I love the forest photos. Such great lighting and depth of colors. ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ๐๐

2025-11-09 17:29:45 +0000 UTCIt could be something as simple as a pile of firewood. When they're stacked like that, they stay good for a long time. If they're lying on the ground, they go bad quickly.
