Assuming you weren't caught at the Dinner table looking at yesterday's Post. Here's something a little bit more wholesome, and maybe something you wish a family member did instead of being brain-rotted by a certain news channel that broadcasts the most unhinged conspiracy theories.
Imagine for a second, your mom trying to connect with you by playing a game you really enjoy. It wouldn't be far-fetched, like Turning Red takes place in 2002, the same year Kingdom Hearts 1 was released. The game would've hit North American shelves months after the lunar eclipse the movie's final act encompasses, so don't think too much about it.
Honestly, Ming Lee asking why is it called the Keyblade, when it doesn't have a blade to cut stuff, may very well just be the multiple questions my mom ask me. There are actually 9 other questions I could've used that wouldn't sound out of character for a parent unfamiliar with Kingdom Hearts. Good thing it's just the first game in the series, if Ming Lee played Kingdom Hearts 3 or KHUX or Dark Road, she would've blue-screened
