I think you misunderstood a bit. The girls want him to drop the honorifics but not them. They still use the honorifics with him. They told him to relax because heโs their senior he can just talk casually no need to be super polite with them. Jihoon wasnโt mad, heโs just feeling pressured to drop the honorifics too fast. Heโs probably more comfortable talking to them politely.
