Yup, we saw Hakkai in Season 1. Prior to the season finale, he showed up in the background during several of the Toman brawls. I remember seeing other characters who stood out to me at the time (including a guy with poofy light blue hair, and a guy with long white hair + a mask), so I'm guessing we'll be introduced to them in the future? I like the idea of new characters existing in the background prior to their introduction, as opposed to them showing up out of nowhere and having "been there all along" despite 0 previous screen time. I wonder if the mangaka drew the scenes with that in mind, or if the anime added those characters in as cameos. The moment you asked, "Doesn't he remind you of..." my mind finished the sentence for you. The older brother definitely makes me think of Ban. I hadn't thought so before, but I can't stop seeing the resemblance now. lol
